My forehand volleys land too long!



1. You might be hitting with no or little backspin!
2. Your wrist is probably laid back, opening the racquet.
3. Make sure you don't take a big back-swing! Imagine you have a wall behind you and you don't want to touch it with your racquet!

Four Corners - Short Court



One feeder sends balls from inside the service court, the other player is on the other side of the net behind the service line.
The player executes alternating ground-strokes and volleys as follows: one forehand ground-stroke at right service court corner, one forehand volley (closer to the net), one backhand ground-stroke at left service court corner and one backhand volley (closer to the net).
The cycle repeats.
Do about 7 repetitions.
Note: Good drill for footwork, quick recovery, control on the run.

Tap, Tap, Tap



The feeder is at the net on one side with a basket of balls ready.
The player stands at the service line, in ready position, on the other side.
The feeder will toss each ball by hand so that they land short in the opposite service court; the player will have to sprint and tap the ball over the net before it bounces twice. Then, he will recover quickly and head back to the service line.
Repeat this about 10 to 15 times.
This is a good drill for conditioning, leg strength, racquet and ball control.

Exercitiu pentru a scapa de durerea de la cot

Am postat aici exercitii pentru a scapa instantaneu de durerea de la cot specifica jucatorilor de tenis. Este vorba de o intindere explicata pas cu pas pentru a scapa de acesta durere.
....si partea cea mai buna este faptul ca nu aveti nevoie de gadget-uri sau sa cheltuiti bani pentru asta...
